As the title says, What does your club do for public service?  The list I came up with is below.

Communications for marathons / parades
Communications for road rallies.
Build mobile EOC for the local EMA
Staff the EOC.
Install communications and IT systems for underfunded school districts
Provide backup communications for Hospitals.
Provide APRS tracking for EOSS events.
Skywarn activities.

I'm sure I missed plenty of worthwhile things that the amateur community does.

Our club assists the city of Alexandria, VA, in whatever ways we are needed. They have a good infrastructure, so the last time we were standing by in an emergency was a couple of years ago when they weather related problem with their radio system. They managed to bring enough of it back up that they didn't need us.

We do provide communications support for the George Washington's Birthday 10K Run and the Parade.
