Worked on 20m CW.  Have Haiti confirmed on several bands, but first CW QSO. Interesting, as I would have bet $ I had worked HH on CW before. Huh

He's pretty weak for the Caribbean. I'd suspect he's QRP or close to it.

I have HH everywhere. Guess I need it for the marathon. The HH5 prefix is interesting. I think that's the first one I've heard, on CW at least.

Despite the solar numbers, the bands have been bad today. Save for the brief 6m opening this morning.

I have just about given up on solar numbers! I keep a cup of chicken bones on my bench and just shake em up and see what they predict. Smiley

I bet you have a newer radio.

The problem with that method is its old school. You have to upgrade to a magic 8 ball. Much more accurate. Get one at your nearest walmart and watch the dx flow in when you want it. Only about 8 bucks.
