With antenna or with dummy load my swr meter
jumps to full scale after about 10w CW output.
and FM/AM/SSB etc

With tuner button ON   says  tuning....but doesnt
With tuner button OFF  says  HI SWR

I have changed connecting cables to Diawa external
meter very erratic powr.and swr reding

when connected to dummy load and same meter reading results.
over 10 watts

it is not the antenna or cable ..

I have made long distance DX contacts with almost
qrp powr... no problem getting out.

ANY SUGGESTIONS WHERE TO LOOK
to find meter SWR meter problem.      HuhHuhHuhHuh

please  email   w4qnw at aol

If you put the dummy load right on the output Ant#1 of the 1000 , select Ant#1 , go to FM , full power and hold the tune button in for 3 seconds. What happens? I think I know where it may be.
