Hi again Ken, (I just posted in your thread in the VHF antenna forum)
AO-7 has the 10m downlink on every other day. It can be tricky to copy and tends to have very little activity. I have spent entire passes hearing only my own signal. The signals tend to be weak and if you have much noise at all, it can be impossible. Look for signals near the middle of the passband (29.450) or try the beacon (29.502 +/- doppler) To know what mode the bird is in today, check this website:
http://oscar.dcarr.org/To know when it is going to be in range, try using this website:
http://www.n2yo.com/?s=7530|27607|24278|28650You will need to sign up enough to give the website your location, but if you save that particular link will display the four current working voice satellites.
Good luck!
