I did OK too.
WH7DX, I heard you calling CQ. I tried and tried to get thru, but condx
at that particular time were not great.
Got more JA's than ever, but since it was a JA sponsored contest
that was not surprizing.
10 & 15 were HOT both days. Opening early, around 0800 local
time and staying open until dark.
Europe in the morning/early afternoon then JA late afternoon.
No new countries and I was sure hoping to hear China, Hong Kong
or other Asians, but NO JOY !
Log is already submitted.
335,000 + points.
Not bad for 100w and a chunk of zip cord.
If you had more than 100w you would have made it. I was also getting plenty of JAs coming in strong as always. I know at times if I called for just NA or EU I could have picked up more QSOs and points but it didn't matter. But it's not just that.. I have a hill that I'm on and it goes up another 400 feet so I've come to the conclusion that I can get out better than I can hear most of the time. I think I have a harder time picking up the signals unless it's during certain periods of the day. It's like it's bouncing off this 650ft mountain coming from NA and I'm right on the otherside of it at 200ft. It's like Ham radio behind a concrete wall to NA...
I'm SURE others in Hawaii would have copied you with 100w.
