My amp broke and  worked in Pre Stew 160m contest barefoot. Expectations were low.

To my surprise I worked all the stations I heard except one in CA. Including 2 KL7 and KH6. Also the run was good.

The band was quiet and busy but by no means full. It seems that barefoot works well except when there is competition.

Excellent! I enjoyed the Pre-Stew too and I see we worked early in the evening! As well as many other 160M Q's in the past two years.

And today I received it in the mail: 160M WAS certificate, after being called and working KL7KY in the Pre-Stew.

Looking forward, very much, to the "Big Stew"!

Tim, Congrats on your 160 WAS.  I still need two states.  I'm hoping to snag them in the Big Stew.  Still haven't seen results of the Prew Stew posted yet?  -Joe
