Dear Fellow Hams,

Staring at my newly purchased E.V. 636 Microphone and it's newly tinned cable leads: (clear with woven shielding, red and black), I'm wondering if any of you experienced Hams out there in "boat-anchor-band-land" might have the same matching combo (mic & anchor) and could guide me as to what color goes where on the ring-tip-sleeve PJ-068 input jack (not right angle). What I really need is: color=ring-tip-or sleeve?

Red=tip, ring, sleeve?
Black=?
Clear=?
Shielding=?

I'm assuming that since there are only 3 possible connections on the jack and four leads on the cable (if you include the shielding) that there are two leads that will need to be soldered together.

73 and thanks in advance for your reply!
