Don't waste your money on communication radio manufacturer speakers, they're a rip off.  Go to your local electronics recycling center (dump) and scrounge a two way bookshelf speaker...most of them sound great with my radios and they don't cost a thing.  I was lucky and found four JBL monitor speakers in very clean shape and grabbed them.  It's amazing what people throw away.

I use a 70's vintage pioneer speaker with my HQ-129x, sounds great on 75 AM. Also use a Heathkit SB-600 speaker and headphones when the going gets tough.
