Our old CRT (RFI-free) TV finally kicked the bucket and we're in the market for a new one.
Has anyone found a "modern" TV which is RFI-free at HF?

Thanks

I have two RFI free modern TV,s, no RFI in either direction. They ab both large screen higher end LED LCD sets. One by Samsung and the other by LG. Absolutely quiet and RFI resistant. (600 watts at 50 feet).

These are not the cheap Walmart models but the upscale versions. The LG is a 240HZ refresh, 3D capable unit. If you go up the model chain abit and don't try for the largest screen size at the lowest cost you can find some fairly reasonable and quite TVs.

Don't remember the model numbers now, but I believe both are no longer in production anyway.

You could bring a SW portable radio when you go shopping for TVs.

Success! The 40" Samsung LED "smart" TV we purchased generates no perceptible RFI on HF. The noise floor is the same, TV on or off...very nice.
