Owner`s manuals that must tell hams not to connect their 12v radio,(red positive, black negative)to 120vac. Or the wrong polarity with 12v. How do you screw that up?  Cheesy

As some contest organizers have done, I think contest exchanges should drop the signal report and include at least the OP name or maybe favorite color or length of a body part.  At least something to make the exchange somewhat personal and entertaining and we would actually be talking to each other!  Just sayin'.

Yes, no chance for exaggeration there... Smiley

Proper way to see whether "long path" is open. Best to do this for hours and hours.

Taco bell is Mexican food.
Donuts and coffee is a good breakfast/lunch/dinner.
Twinkies have a shelf life of forever.
Think a ham fest or field day!

"You're not a real ham if you don't have your DXCC." I've heard that one before.

The version of that I heard was 'you're not a real ham if you don't CW'.

"You're not a real ham if you didn't build your equipment."

you know, blowing and evacuating a 340 TL is kinda hard on the kitchen table.  and The Gummint won't let me have any thorium for the filaments.

that is BS.  it is a successful attempt on the part of the thorium stockpilers to sell all their old stock before consumers realize there are viable thorium alternatives. but the National Thorium Association seems to have most of Congress in its back pocket, so whaddya gonna do?
