I have asked the ARRL people this question a few times but got the same vague response. While very polite in the response they have not told me exactly how to do it. I passed the extra test in March and I have wanted to get a new call sign but I don't want to loose all the points I have for the Centennial Challenge. All of the W1AW records are under a call sign and if I change it I don't see anywhere on the ARRL site to change a call sign. Is this done with a the certificate? Would that not start a new log?

If anyone has changed call signs and kept their logs please let me know how you did it?

Not sure why you wold say they are vague....I have my LoTW linked to three callsign with no problems. This is right off of the LoTW page..

If you have received a new vanity call or had your primary call sign changed simply request a certificate for your new call sign.

After you upload the certificate request use the username request form to inform the Logbook of The World staff  that you changed your primary call and you would like your LoTW username to be changed as well.

You will not wait for a postcard for this action to happen.  You will be notified when the name change has occured.

Your logon password will not changed.
