What is the youngest age that a person has passed their test and received an Amateur license in the US?

1977 a 5 year old got a novice liscense he passed the code test when he was 4.

That is Wonderful.  I am 13 just got my tech license..The youngest I have seen that have had code was a 9 year old general.  I am now working on my general..

The youngest ham is a six year old girl in ...i belive california. it was on an arrl article a mont or two ago

Still 6 is young.  I don't know about that 5yr old!  How odd!

I'm teaching my two sons the code. My 2 year old got a good start; his first letter was "M" (da-dah)! My other son is only 4 weeks.  I'll give him a little time.

Congrats to all the young hams! My daughter Emily, WE4MB was 8 yrs. old when she passed the Tech. exam, 9 yrs old she passed the 5 words a minute CW exam. At 10 yrs. old she passed the General and Amateur Extra at the same test session.  She will be 18 in a few days and will be starting college this fall.
