Title: 9x5ab (rwanda) - qsl via DF3ZJ, got a QSL info for him?
Post by: W4VKU on January 01, 2012, 11:05:37 AM
I made a contact with 9x5AB in dec 2011 and was told that the qsl route is via
DF3ZJ. I started my search from QRZ.com and spanned several other sites on the net
to no avail in locating the latest address for DF3ZJ.

I need his card for a new one for Rwanda.
Anyone got a card from him would mind sharing the QSL route?

tnx and 73s

I did a google on the call.It comes up like early 80's and early 90's operation. I did a search on DXsummit and all I see is a half dozen calls from 9X before the operation that is going on now.My guess pirate or copied the wrong call. Also usually when a 9X operation is coming up its on the dx calendar.I see none like that.

Thank you. I don't think i copied the call wrong, since i got the call and the qsl manager right and had the data
on my logs and later on started doing a google search. I asked the station twice about the callsign of the
QSL manager. The search shows that 9x5ab and DF3ZJ pair is valid ( historically atleast).
Also the beam heading was a clear Africa. Well, will wait and watch or work a legit one sometime down the road.

For what it is worth, the cluster has the following spots for the phone band last year. None of these
calls have an entry in QRZ.com
