Title: Propagation Software
Post by: KA2Z on May 29, 2012, 02:39:19 PM
Howdy... Is there any good programs for propagation?
Something that would give up to the minute greyscale, flux, band conditions, etc.

I have PC windows 7, and MAC.

Thanks,

Rosario / KA2Z

  • - SFI, A, and K history (http://www.dxlabsuite.com/spotcollector/Solar.jpg)
  • - SFI and A forecast (http://www.dxlabsuite.com/propview/SFI-A%20forecast.jpg)
  • - current QSOs (http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxview/WorldMap.jpg)
  • - propagation forecast (http://www.dxlabsuite.com/propview/PropViewBands.jpg)
  • - NCDXF beacon monitor (http://www.dxlabsuite.com/propview/beacons.jpg)

It's all free, via www.dxlabsuite.com (http://www.dxlabsuite.com)

Get IONPROBE and HAMCAP from http://www.dxatlas.com/

Easy to use and figure out, they also work with DXatlas. Many Dxexpeditions use Hamcap on their webpage. Hamcap is free, Ionprobe is $20. If you do not want to spend $20 you can input the info into Hamcap by hand.

Ionprobe can be used for 30 days free to try it out. Same with Dxatlas.
