Title: Global QSLs Questions
Post by: K3ZL on September 14, 2013, 08:21:12 AM
When upload ADI files I see that many of them are rejected, and am getting this message as the reason for rejection: "No active bureau or QSL-manager for this call sign".   I thought that they were going to send all of the cards to the appropriate buros. The one's rejected are Germany, Romania and other common countries.  What is up with this?

There are some amateurs overseas, just like here in the US, that don't use the Bureau.  I believe GlobalQSL keeps track of a lot of those.

Also, you have to be careful on your file construction when you upload.  GlobalQSL doesn't like it when the "QSL_VIA" field includes stuff like "LoTW, eQSL and Buro" or even simply "BURO" or "BUREAU"; it expects to see only a callsign there...anything else and it will reject the upload.

Working at bureau sorting cards I find that Global QSL cards seem to stick together more than other QSLs.  It's frustrating.
