The Desert Rats Club is in the  process of  planning there up coming hamfest on January 28  2012. a lot of the venders that were at the last hamfest want to returne next year. You can check for info  at  www.desertrats.am. There are plans for a Special Event Station, with a few updates, for the next hamfest. There were over 600 people made it to the last one so plan now to attend for a day of  fun , great prizes, and a great time.    Hope to see  you  there.

We  built a tape measure Yagi antenna, good for 2 m t-hunting, at the C.V.A.R.C. , NR6P, club meeting. It was fun for all.

Hello  to  all.
          The  Desert  Rats  Club  of  Palm  Springs  is  having  a  Hamfest  and  Special  Event  Station  on January  29  2011.  Everyone  is  invited  to  attend.  If  you can't  make  it  we  will  be  on  h.f.  at  14251, 7.240  and  3672.  More  info  is  located  at   www.desertrats.am.
Hours  for  the  Hamfest  will  be  9:30  am  to  4:30  pm  Califorina  time.  The  Special  Event  Station  will  operate  from  9 am  to  4:30 pm.  Hope  to  see  you  there.  there  will  be venders  from  H.R.O. A.E.S.  AND lots  of  others.
