I would try magnetic loop, mobile whip or microvert ant.
Or horizontal loop,2-3m over the ground.I used to have such a loop for 20m and 1W QRP.

Hi guys,

Could someone record QSOs from my website http://www.qsl.net/sp9hzx/qso.html in mp3 and send me back? The same way as French mp3 on my website
I mean QSO, spelling,letters,numbers.

Russian,Spanish,Japanese,Portuguese,German,Italian and also English. It would be nice to have typical American,English,Australian,Scottish and Irish accent. And  Spanish from EA and Latin or South America.

Just FYI Alinco has replied.
Funny but they have neither diagram nor service manual of this radio.

Anyway I have found backup battery on my diagram but the the access to it in the radio is very hard.Hope to cope with it

I dont think so
I can listen on BC bands without any problems.
Recently I have replaced all relays and the radio works as a brand new one.

It is very difficult to find any info of such an old radio.
Hope in Alinco there is somebody old enough to remember this model

Hi guys,

I have an old handy VHF Alinco ALM203E.
It works fine but it doesnt remember memorized channels on switching off power or removing battery for more than several minutes
Does anybody know if there is an internal battery responsible for it or any capacitor?
