I am using the last FREE edition of HRD & I just tried some PSK31 & do NOT see the box you are speaking of? Maybe it's something in the newer version? Sorry I could not help!  Huh

99% of our local traffic here is on the local 440 mhz repeater & we have a 2 meter machine as well but it's RARE that's it's used.Plans for a 2 meter D-STAR repeater are next so we will will be using 2 meters but for Digital modes only & then just a couple of us so far have
D-STAR but others are willing too get on board when the repeater is up & running. {:>)

PLENTY of used dual band options for reasonable prices.I see plenty for $175 & some for much less with this option all of the time & that's VERY reasonable for a dual band mobile. Grin   Cheesy   Smiley  {:>)  }:>)

...........................must be paid or related.........................

We all met Martyn for the 1st time at Dayton Hamvention 2013 but one of those friends has purchased from Martyn on at least 2 other radio's via the internet & had NO ISSUES buying from him at Dayton in person.Guess we must all be living right because that makes 6 radio's between the three of us & we are ALL very happy with the products & the deals? I can only comment on the deals I have knowledge of here in my home town & they ALL have been 100% GOOD so GOOD experiences should be shared as well as BAD experiences so everyone gets BOTH sides of the story.  Smiley

Quote: Indeed!

For all we know Clayton is a friend of Martyn's.  If not, I hope Clayton and his "friends"  keep doing business with Radio-Mart so that they can continue to experience the stellar customer service this outfit is famous for.  Keep us posted.

I'll bet Bernie Madoff had some happy clients too.

Well my friends & I all met Martyn at Dayton Hamvention 2013 so it was my 1st dealings with him.One of those friends has purchased several radio's from Martyn via the internet & was & is still very happy with those as well & the price.Just giving a FAIR report on the dealings I have personal knowledge of as I would for others & would want from those dealing with me.  Smiley

9  eHam Forums / Good Seller / Buyer Beware / RE: I received this email did anyone also get this one on: June 13, 2013, 08:51:59 PM
Hey I got that one a couple of years ago.I never heard from the guy after I did NOT send him any money so I don't know if it was real or fake? I'm not a banker so I did not bite & I did not know the real guy well enough to send money with that little bit of info. The person who sent me the message did not know much about me other than my email address & mailing address so guessing it was a fake?  Grin

I did not know if you had the owners manual for the amp but here it is.Maybe you will find some HELP there? Also did not see if you have the amp wired for the voltage you are using coming from the power outlet(120/220/240)because this could cause some serious issues.I would start with both the tune or load knobs set towards the middle of the settings range & NOT far left or far right.Keep us informed.  Grin

Ladies (and gentlemen), to experience real amateur radio learn code and work CW. You will avoid all that you don't like about amateur radio and get to experience radio communication in its most pure form.

I passed the Code test & have NO INTEREST in using it other than for a RARE DX contact evey now & then.It gives me a headache pretty quick so it's NOT enjoyable which is not why I enjoy Ham Radio. If it's not FUN I'll pass on whatever mode it is.I'll stick with SSB,AM,FM, a few digital modes on HF & 6 meters & some D-STAR & leave that NOISY CW to others who ENJOY it.It's about having FUN & helping your fellow Man & Woman when you can. {:>)   Grin   Smiley   Cheesy

I have TWO of the UV-5R HT's & like them very much.I have the programming cable & get GREAT output audio reports with them.I have the high capacity battery on one of them & it will last a couple of days with ease with moderate usage.I have seen them on the wb for under $40 including shipping. They also make a 2 meter/220 mhz model that is sold only at Radiomart.com should you want or need the 220 mhz band.  Grin   Cheesy   Smiley  {:>)

Like it has been said millions of times before:"YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID"! Just like those who tune up on the DX stations(Many on purpose)they just don't get it & never will.
