Caveat: I have no connection with Alinco or it's dealers other than I own a DJ-195 and a power supply for my HF rig that I really like. Alinco does business in the U.S. through "Ham Distributors" (H.D.). I had need of a repair part that I thought should be readily available as my radio is still on their website. There is an old story about a father who asks his two sons to do something for him. One says he won't, the other says he will. Well the one who said he would, didn't and the one who said he wouldn't had second thoughts and did it. H.D. was like the second son. I was told I couldn't get the part any more. I asked the Customer Service person if he would check further for me. A couple of days later, the part came in the mail, no charge. Now in a perfect world both sons would have said, "Sure Dad," and done the task, but I'm sure the father was happy with the son who came through as I am with Alinco and the CS rep. That is the kind of company with whom I like doing business.
