ww5aa, as has been said the things have ben going on for years now nothing is happening soon indeed ask W4NTI about that on his blog at w4nti.com editroal page and down a bit he publishes a letter from IC whcih say nnothing is going to be done

a logical person would conclude that either IC is even worse about enforcement or IC deems ve7kfm in aceptable compliance with there rules (excuses the occasional outbursts  as provoked) either way nothing is happening

while theire is blame to spread around Ve7kfm would just like to use the rado to disucss things that you might well disagree with versus the group that want him off the air period no matter what he choses to say now or int eh future I know which I would choose even if I were targeted myself from the latter group

6  eHam Forums / VHF / UHF / EME Newby question on: September 05, 2007, 10:38:01 PM
12 element is a bit marginal but posible I can work moonrise and moonset with 13 element and 150 watt not many station but it work

not sure how much power  your amp gives you but sounds like more than o100 waat so you should be able to work somebody if you can hear them.

if you can't hear the big guys then almost any imporement in your anttenas should do the trick
7  eHam Forums / Clubs / Is this a joke? on: January 21, 2007, 10:48:09 AM
given the number of Ham that enage in gay bashing retoric and threats I would think part of the purpose is obvious (if you doubt that such exist I refer to the archives of RRAP on the usenet currently it is a minor matter) but with varius different gruops within ham radio why not and why should it be considered a joke
8  eHam Forums / Elmers / How to safely buy a radio? on: January 10, 2007, 07:45:24 PM

10  eHam Forums / Elmers / 6 Meter Radio Control for Models ? ? ? on: December 20, 2006, 11:14:57 PM
not sure of 72 or 74mhz power level (300mw?)but Ham rc means only your fellow hams can shoot you down and most hams understnad that the transmitter on rc starts when you turn it on alsoe few hams seems to fly rc on 6 compared to the number rc flyer that are not hams

also with a 6m ht you turn on a receiver on your channel and make sure notihing else is one before your turn your models on
11  eHam Forums / Elmers / PSK 63 on: December 03, 2006, 12:13:50 AM
not terribly familer with PSK 63 in particular but geting a numbe rof the digtal mode to transmt is sometime a battle with your PC internal configuaration had loads of truobel sart JT65 on same day I use PSK 31

first most somewhere I have seen having PSK 63 on has other modes like PSK 31 or SSTV or even CW trying one of them and see if you interface tranmit I have of All thing teh SSTV or CW modes are good to start with since a lot programing sem to have started with one or the other and expanded their interface

or is the problem I can hear the mode on the your speaker but the tramitter is not being keyed Likely solation is that the program need to be told comport number to find the keying function, In a sense of self protectiveness I'll refrain form saying how it it took me to figure that one out

KB9RQZ@amsat.org if I can help

depending on your timelines I do come down to greenbay some fridays for temple services and Prehaps if you have the time to wait thinext weekend my wife still has a craft show round here but perhaps th e week after I could to meet and help you a bit more

nothing lowly about us techs if it were not for us a lot of thing would never get tried

13  eHam Forums / Licensing / VE Bad Karma? or what on: July 16, 2006, 07:30:19 PM
"Tell your paranoid friend to chill out. I can quite assure you that as a VE myself with two organizations I truly do not care what anyones SS number is.

Being cautious is one thing. Being paranoid is another thing entirely. "
having frankly suffered a rash SS number based id theft shortly after I took my own exams I certainly wonder if trying to witholh that is something I would not say was all that parnoid
