I wonder if anyone has noticed the absence of aerials on Hitlers bunker, even on quite early photographs there are none visible, and yet in documents there is frequent reference to radio comm from there, so its not just landlines that were used from there.....perhaps someone knows the answer to this puzzle.....

Okay thanks I was hoping that i could split the ethernet cable at the top into two to feed the other p.c. without running another cable all the way downstairs... some sort of 1 into 2 like usb hubs..

I share a connection to broadband with a ethernet cable plugged into the router and feeding the pc upstairs, can i use another pc sharing the same cable in another room, this would require some sort of ethernet one into two adapter i guess ? I cannot use wi fi so got to be a cable connection.
Hopefully Jim Tylee.........
P.S. this would be three p.c. conected at the same time....

Does anyone know the purpose of the small clock which is visible at a certain angle on the display screen...i had forgotten about this until a friend mentioned it the other day...noticed this when first bought many years ago..perhaps there is some way to energise this?

Has anyone who has done the ssb drive mod(cutting diode d99)experienced audio distortion on transmit if they are running more than 40 watts. it sounds to the receive station like rf getting into the mike ciorcuit.

Hi, does anyone have any info on using a solid state rig with a 2100b amp, even a proven circuit diagram would be most useful...

Thanks for the info Peter, i did not know that there was a mki and mk2 version, I swopped mine for a few power supplies a long time ago. Apart from getting it working on the correct sideband its been great on 80 meters. changed the inverter power transistors a year ago because one decided to go short circuit.
Thanks again Jim.........
