7  eHam Forums / Computers And Software / Free and easy "off site" log backup. on: June 29, 2007, 02:55:38 PM
I use different ways for log backup (flash drive, etc),but when I read about using the extra space on my "gmail" email account for file storage I thought about log backup. It works well.I just email my .adi file to myself about once a month. If I need it, I can download it from gmail. One small hitch:When I first tried this, gmail opened the file,so I had to change the file extension to something like .wmv so it would let me download it.Others may want to try this method.73,Grady,W4TRY

9  eHam Forums / Elmers / Logger32 import on: August 14, 2006, 10:35:34 AM
Another thought, When you go to import your file into logger 32 ,you will probably need to give the file an ..,ADI. file name.
10  eHam Forums / Elmers / Logger32 import on: August 14, 2006, 08:21:16 AM
Here is an answer from a NON-expert. Maybe you will get a better answer.Put a QSO into logger 32 and then export it so you can look at the ADIF. format. Then put your old log into Excel and add the ADIF.groupings ,etc. to make it match the  ADIF. format.Good luck.
