I appreciate all the answers to my question.I agree the 43 foot antenna would be much better and not as costly.I just dont have ideal location in the yard.I have ground plane on the roof and works pretty good.Thanks for the input comments saved me money.Thank all of you.
Want to use remote antenna tuner with my Zero 5 ground plane. Would like to run no more than 500 watts.Also wonder if there would be much benifit or gain ,compared to using my manual tuner.Guess what Im asking is it worth the expense for small amount of gain.Any input appreciated.
One thing for sure buy a quality screw driver.Such as SNAP ON TOOLS or Mac tools. Reason too many made in china and other places. Been in auto repair business 40 years. Seen a good share of junk tools.Believe me.
Hi ,I had ATT UVERSE and had same trouble. They could not fix trouble and had them remove the system.Wish they could have solved problem. Im using Satalite Tv . Works great.I know it doesnt help you with my reply.73
Hi,the most you will see is about 2-3 s unit increase with 1kw out put for the most part.The first 500 watts makes the difference.Like the other ham said talk to some one on the air and hear signal with 100 watts and then with amp on.73
