I have a new screwdriver antenna and the Am-Com controller. All is grounded and tunes fine on all bands until the weather turns cold (30 deg F and below ). The antenna wonders up and down but will not find resonates. The controller seems to work fine in hot or cold conditions. As soon as the sun shines on the antenna for a while ( 15 to 30 minutes ) it tunes fine. Any body else have this problem and is it inherent for this type of antenna. PS I have check the antenna for mosture problems and have none.
