Thanks.  Yes, I ruled out the fuel pump by cycling it without the engine running;  No hint of the noise then.

I've got a 99 Buick Century with a 3.1L V6.  I get ignition noise on the 2 meter band.  I've filtered the DC line VERY well, run direct to battery, etc.  HT in the car exhibits the same problem.  Any suggestions?  Note:  No noise is evident on the 440 band. Last car was a 95 Grand Prix with the same engine and same problem (I suppose I should have looked at a FORD :-)  TNX, Mark
