1  eHam Forums / Computers And Software / QSL label programme for Windows 7 on: February 22, 2012, 06:38:43 PM
Hi there. I was enquiring if there are any QSL label programs for Windows 7, using HRD as my database program?  I can put details of QSO's into ADIF format. I don't require software to make QSL's just the labels to stick on them.

Any help with instructions would be great.

2  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / MFJ 1788 Remote Tuner Box - disconnected wire upon opening unit on: January 29, 2012, 10:39:40 PM
Hi recently bought a MFJ 1788 Loop Antenna. Thus far, the holes in the antenna brackets are not wide enough. Any suggestions as to the best way to widen them? They don't have a lot of spare room to enlarge them. My other issue is the Remote Tuning Unit, upon internal inspection, there is a red wire coming from the meter which is disconnected. I'm sure it connects to the 8 pin plug/socket being the meter but as there is no schematic I have no idea which pin it should connect to. At present, looking from the back of the unit, from right to left, pin 3 has blue wire, pin 4 has black wire and pin 5 has a gray wire.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi all. I recently purchased an MFJ 1788! And have had some poor QC issues. The mounting brackets don't up but also a red wire in the remote tuner box was disconnected. Can anyone indicate which post on the 8 pin plug behind the meter it should be connected to. I have a blue wire on 3, black on 4 and gray on 5, going from right to left looking from the rear of the unit. No schematic is provided thus I am unsure where it is to go.

Let's hope after this, the antenna will work and tune. Still have to open the slots on the brackets more.

Thanks for any advise.

Hi there. I recently purchased an FT 950 and have it on at present. Everything seems good except I can't get my signalink to transmit without having to press the VOX button on the rig each time. I'm sure I am forgetting to do something. I'm on USB, cables are connected. Any suggestion?

Also I have no communication between the FT 950 and my computer. I'm using a 9 pin RS232 cable but nothing coming across from the CAT cable. It all worked well with the FT 890.

Any help is greatly appreciatd.
