Has anyone out there purchased this Unit that was on Ebay? It supposedly allows you to walk around with its
portable mic back to a unit called a repeater that plugs into an Icom Radio for both Transmit and receive audio.
I am having some problems with this unit.
I purchased one and I just wondered if anyone else got one and does it work?

I have used HRD for some years on an FT-1000D and it worked great. Recently I bought an FTDX 9000MP and I can't communicate with the radio. Straight serial cable... and tried a null modem cabe too.. still no frequency readout. I did all the RTS, DTR magic buttons, and still no commo. I was wondering if HRD really works with the FTDX9000MP.Or.... maybe I have something set wrong on the radio in the menu. Any help would be appreciated..

The forum on this at HRD is a real cludge...
