Hi,
Glad to learn that you did the right things before the towers went up.
Legal action is no picnic, for plantif or defendant. Be sure to keep your options open, you just don't know how many sleepless nights that nasty letter the lady mailed out has caused you !
Maybe you can offer your place for sale to mr. neighbor/moneybags and walk away a little richer.
Better yet, sell the place to someone that has lots of kids, some junk cars to park on the lot along with an old school bus rusting and maybe an old airplane ?
The neighbors may wish they left you alone !

Hi,
Good idea to speak with your lawyer.
Perhaps your lawyer can send a letter to her and get her to stop what she is doing to you or face legal action !
We had a similar thing up in ny area, homes were being pruchased by an individual cheap and he rented all of them out to low income people. All legal to do and the renters were good people. Anyway, one lady on our block mails out letters against the investor and his lawyers slammed her with a huge lawsuit. It was settled out of court, she had to take back what she wrote about him, place ads in papers, and pay him some money, maybe a lot of money.
Keep us posted on how this all works out.

Hi,
Stopped by the shack for a 4pin mic connector, got it fast and easy, no problems, no q & a and no attempt to sell me a cell phone or digital camera !
They did say they have fresh batteries since we have had some severe weather in the area.
Funny thing while I was waiting in line, the two salesmen were helping different customers with their cell phone bills, looks like they were past due and they racked up late charges !
The other salesman asked the lady for her social security number to access her account ! She was making a payment (late and roam charges $$$)
It was easy for me to hear her personal number even from ten feet away ! Don't worry I am honest !
Some people do not know anything about id fraud and how much it costs people in money and time to fix what was once a A #1 credit profile.

Field day is around the corner, many clubs are running digital stations and that is a good way to get your feet wet.

hi, Are there any hams working at the Intel location with you ? Most new home sites will have an agent on site, he or she can tell you what, if any, restrictions the home will have. If you need to locate a club near you, http://www.arrl.org to find one. Ask your coworkers to recommmend a good real estate agent for you. 73 james

hi
I stand corrected, should read the question a second time before sending a reply.
I thought he was looking for 10 Mhz.
Try some deoxit cleaner on the switches, the used rig I have would not work on 20 M until I cleaned it up.

hi,
The radio has the WARC bands blocked but easy to fix.
For all 3 bands break the line between the rf unit X44-1360-01 connector #6, pin #1 (top terminal) and AF unit X49-1150-00, connector #7, pin #4 (top terminal).
(can't remember if wire to cut is blue or purple)
These instructions are in the operations manual.
While you have the radio opened up, take some time and use some Deoxit cleaner spray on all the switches and pots. Don't forget to lube the cooling fan.

hi,
Not sure what version of win o/s you are running, if 98 be sure to turn off fast find, it is an index service and sometimes (ok a lot) can slug up your system performance as it keeps track of every file.
On newer o/s under harddrive properties you can turn off indexing and that may help.
You may see in improvement in a day or so, without doing anything to your system, something the phone company does on its own.
