Thanks for the advise.  You were right on target.  The diode in the forward power detector circuit failed.  Quick trip to Radio Shack and some solder solved the problem.

I have an MFJ Mobile Antenna Tuner that needs repair.  The tuner uses a dual crossed needle to display SWR and Forward/Reflected power.  One of the needles is not working (does not move).  The tuner works fine otherwise.  
If you have any experience with troubleshooting this type of tuner please contact me.  WL7CKD@arrl.net
