...."Better yet. I'm not going to tell you where the dead horse is,....."
Ah but you already slipped up, you gave us a huge clue, you stated it was on the ground and it is in fact dead! This eliminates a vast amount of possibilities. My air and space, as well as marine searches are now unnecessary. To ground, to ground !

I found that my 3 element quagi out performed my 5 element Yagi and did so on a smaller boom. Build yourself a quagi on whatever boom you have and if it is too short for all the elements just leave off the directors furthest from the business end of the antenna. You may be pleasantly surprised.

Stupid answer, can you inadvertently lock the keypad on that like you can on other yaesu mics? Took me 2 hours once, to find that out, on one I had.

I would bet that if you were to slap a coat of anything on it, over time, as it fades, peels, and otherwise ages, it will be so gradual no one would notice it "appearing". As the paint does come off the metal will become dull and blend in with the world around it. Dont over complicate things.

I have used all you mention but have found that the cheap black vinyl electrical stuff sold by walmart for like 88 cents a roll works best. It is forever pliable, will be tacky enough to grip and seal upon itself but can be easily un wrapped even in temperature extremes. Just don't put too much tension on it when hot out or it will tend to unravel. I also make a tab (fold it back on itself about an inch) so that I have an easy to find pull. I used this for taping down feed-line and pole joints and have been able to use the tape repeatedly as long as it doesn't get balled up.

Edwin, I suspect that English is not your native language, sadly your valiant attempt at posting in English is not presenting a very clear question. Would you possibly be able to post in Spanish and then we can use a translator to get a better idea of your inquiry.
Same posting translated :
