...."Better yet. I'm not going to tell you where the dead horse is,....."

Ah but you already slipped up, you gave us a huge clue, you stated it was on the ground and it is in fact dead! This eliminates a vast amount of possibilities. My air and space, as well as marine searches are now unnecessary. To ground, to ground !

I found that my 3 element   quagi out performed my 5 element Yagi and did so on a smaller boom. Build yourself a quagi on whatever boom you have  and if it is too short for all the elements just leave off the directors furthest from the business end of the antenna. You may be pleasantly surprised.
49  eHam Forums / Mods And Repairs / RADIO SHACK HTX 204 WALL CHARGER on: July 11, 2007, 01:16:42 PM
Specs require a supply voltage of 6-16 vdc. If the polarity is right and the plug fits, I think it should work. Just be very sure of the voltage and polarity before you try it.

55  eHam Forums / Mods And Repairs / MD-1 up/down buttons on: June 26, 2007, 01:12:14 PM
Stupid answer, can you inadvertently lock the keypad on that like you can on other yaesu mics?  Took me 2 hours once, to find that out, on one I had.
56  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / how do I paint galvanized steel? on: June 21, 2007, 09:48:01 AM
I would bet that if you were to slap a coat of anything on it, over time, as it fades, peels, and otherwise ages, it will be so gradual no one would notice it "appearing". As the paint does come off the metal will become dull and blend in with the world around it. Dont over complicate things.
57  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / Size hole for 19' of Rohn 25G on: June 14, 2007, 01:22:00 PM
rohn,  says  2.4 cu yds. right now you have about 8 cu ft. , not near enough.
58  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / Placing tower on top of Carport? on: June 05, 2007, 09:35:01 AM
Carports tend to be flat, is it ?  As such it may lack the proper construction to dissipate the stress such a tower can create. I would think it would have a tendency to punch through the roof.
Whats the carport made of etc.
59  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / Recommended tape for extension masts on: June 01, 2007, 03:33:53 PM
I have used all you mention but have found that the cheap black vinyl electrical stuff sold by walmart  for like 88 cents a roll works best. It is forever pliable, will be tacky enough to grip and seal upon itself but can be easily un wrapped even in temperature extremes. Just don't put too much tension on it when hot out or it will tend to unravel. I also make a tab (fold it back on itself about an inch) so that I have an easy to find pull. I used this for taping down feed-line and pole joints and have been able to use the tape repeatedly as long as it doesn't get balled up.

Edwin,
I suspect that English is not your native language, sadly your valiant attempt at posting in English is not presenting a very clear question. Would you possibly be able to post in Spanish and then we can use a translator to get a better idea of your inquiry.

  Same posting translated :
