I am trying to setup my TS 680s on HRD. I know I have to turn on DTR, but for some reason I can not turn it on. What happens is I click the box and green check mark appears, but when I connect and it starts doing it's thing DTR is shown as OFF in the status box. And it can't read the frequency. Any ideas how to fix this?
Thanks

I'm considering buying a dual band mobile that cross band repeats. I have been looking, and I find things like V/V and U/U. Is this another way of saying cross band repeat? Could someone please explian this to me? And also feel free to recommend such radios that you like. Thanks

eHam Forums / Elmers / Alliance Tenna Rotor question

The rotor case says "Alliance Tenna Rotor" "one RPM", and where it was manufactured. There are no other markings on it. It has five terminals. There are three control boxes. The one control box that is an Alliance is a Model T-10. It has four wires. I can not seem to find any info on the rotor. Hopefully this information will help I.D. the rotor. In the mean time I will take a look inside and see what I can figure out. Thanks to all for the advice. Dave KC9LJO

eHam Forums / Elmers / Alliance Tenna Rotor question

I found an Alliance Tenna Rotor at a yardsale, and I am trying to bring it back to life. I also got three control boxes with it. The Rotor is a five wire version. And two of the controllers are four wire, and one is five wire. One of the controllers is an Alliance, but it is a four wire so I am guessing it is not the original matching controller. What I would like to find out is, which terminal is does what? And can a four wire controller run a five wire rotor? Thanks in advance, Dave (KC9LJO)
