There is no point in working a DXpedition to a rare country on the same band that you already have a previous DXpedition confirmed on. It is just selfish behavior, and will take away a new band or new DXCC from someone else who might need it.
DON'T YOU GUYS GET THIS? WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND?

Dupes, dupes, let's all make dupes!
Work it once, work it again.
Gotta be sure, so make lots of dupes!
Duplicate QSOs rule.

If you're worried about lost QSO data occurring, make one or two contacts on a different band or mode. That way you'll be sure to have at least one QSO that's in the log.
Oh, wait, I forgot. It's not good enough to be in the log on one band or mode only. You need every single band and mode combination to satisfy your cravings. More, more, more QSOs for me.
Post another spot, let everyone know that I worked it QSX 18098.6 TU NEW RTTY or wkd with 3 watts TU 8 bands
DUPE, LOG, BRAG, REPEAT
This behavior stinks, it's ruining DXing for others. Do you get my message? Do you even care about anyone other than yourself and your little green checkmarks?

Hah! The dupers dupe because they have nothing better to do. There is absolutely no reason that someone needs to be in the log on 20 CW, 20 RTTY, 20 SSB, 15 CW, 15 SSB, 15 RTTY, 12 CW, 12 SSB, etc., except for greed and selfishness. Look at all my little green checks in the online log! Aren't I something?
These contacts count towards no award, as there are not separate 15 CW, 15 SSB, and 15 RTTY DXCC certificates.
Toward the end of a DXpedition is when the little pistols traditionally could get through. Nowadays, it's the duper with his 1.5 KW and giant beam working the DX again to get another band slot.
In fact, in the 15 CW FT5GA pileup, I heard stations working them who WERE ALREADY CONFIRMED IN THE ONLINE LOG ON 15 CW. Maybe they were just "testing their equipment" again. There is no way one can spin that kind of behavior other than plain selfishness.
It's a waste of a DXpedition to just work the same 2500 DXers 20 different times. Work 25000 DXers once or twice each!
Turn off the radio, go upstairs, go to the gym and get in shape, instead of making foolish unnecessary duplicate contacts.
The duping won't stop. It's the new milennium DXers with their attitude of me me me. Get a station as good as mine, they say, and then you can finally best my idiocy. Maybe it's not worth it.

The call could be 2I0BSH, from Northern Ireland. There are some spots for this station on 20 SSB in the past few months.
On DX summit, you can go to the search function and enter partial calls, for instance I entered "I0B" and clicked the Any Column box, and get a list of recent DX that has been posted with those letters/numbers in it.

I don't have any thoughts as to what is wrong for your antenna, but it seems like posting "get a different antenna" or "I worked them fifty times on 80 meters with my setup" doesn't help answer the question either.
Sorry that your antennas were wrecked in the hurricane.

W1NK and K9MRD,
I was not responsible for the P58CH spot. Some frustrated DX Duper was pretending to be me in that particular instance.
I do take credit for the BS7H spots though. They are part of my ongoing attempt to get Dupers and Braggers to think about their selfish acts and go QRT. It's not working thus far, but I will not lose hope nor stope trying.

along the lines of Billy Sianis' alleged curse on the cubs, I offer this to the Dupers "May your rotor stick and your amp blow Right before you attempt your next duplicate QSO."
keep pouring your thousands of dollars into your stations so you can have the privilege of being first in the pileups and second and third and fourth
We can look in the on line logs and see who has made more than one QSO on each band/mode. These are the Dupers, the scourge of DXing.
I don't believe I am the only one who feels this way but no one else will face these "DXers" publicly.
It won't be hashed out until the dupers and braggers go QRT.

It's not possible, you say. There is no way to make him go away. He's here to stay. Running up one insurance contact after another, just in case, or just for fun, just because he's bored, or just because his station is a super mega behemoth and he wants to be a show off.
There is an answer. Delete his QSOs from the DXpedition logs. Make duplicate QSOs with BS7H or VU4AN on 20 CW? All your 20 CW QSOs are erased. Poof. Gone. Can't get 'em back. Sorry. Wait until next time, like the dupers tell all the little pistols.
Want an insurance contact? Go work the DX on a different band/mode, like the real DXers.
DX Duper will be sad, because he will have nothing to do. He can't fire up the 1.5 kilowatts to re-work the DXpedition for the 20th time. Maybe it will encourage DX Duper to turn off the rig, go upstairs and lift some weights to get rid of his beer belly. Who knows? It might even reform the lives of the low level dupers.
It would require a DXpedition with enormous stones to make this dream a reality. Obviously, it would come under tremendous criticism from the Duper community. But one never knows what may happen in the future. DX is! (and the essence of that phrase got lost somewhere on the road to duper-ville)
And thank you in advance for writing negative responses to this essay, you will be proof positive of that last sentence!

G5RVs at 30' and 100W aren't going to get the rare distant ones in your log
not when the guys with the aluminum and amps are in every pileup for every station just for fun. sometimes the little guys can hear the DX but can't get through because of the show offs making duplicate contacts (like so many did for BS7H). is that what DXing is all about? bragging here or on the cluster? if that's how you feel then you are not a true DXer plain and simple
telling me to get a better station, or make a friend with a big station is a standard response but it misses the point completely.

Also I forgot to add this, which is written on AP2DKH's QRZ listing: "Please send $2 as SAES if you want to recive the QSL card directly. Please NO IRC as these are not accepted in our country, for which (PARS) is trying to negoiate with the goverment and Post Office authorities"
So it looks like either Pakistan stamps or US currency is the way to go.

I have a couple QSL cards from Bob from 1991 and 1992, both sent and returned direct to his address in Pakistan. The address on QRZ is the one I remember sending to (his street address is not listed on the QSL). Times have changed since then and mail service obviously can't be trusted any more. I suggest you try registered mail with return receipt requested. This worked for Syria a few years ago. It may cost you more, but the only person who should be receiving the letter is Bob himself. Hope you get the card.
Chris

How about just being nice and answering someone's question? No need to be sarcastic and tell people to go look in Google and that they are wasting time posting here. That's what this forum is for, to ask questions. If you think the question has an obvious answer, reply nicely with the answer, or don't reply at all. It's not very funny, and it is a bit mean-spirited.

On field hams assist Bill Belichick in stealing signals vs. Jets!! Maybe Roger Goodell needs to suspend some FCC licenses. Apparently this past Saturday, some ham read the entire Dallas playbook to Coach Belichick on 21.295.
