Is this rig able to do crossband repeat ??
Receive on 2 and transmit on 440 and vice versa.

This way I could work back yard and not kill the batteries on my ht running 5 watts talking to the locals.

I used to have a 416 and may still have the manual, let me take a look when I get home from work.

Hello all

I know someone looking to sell a yaesu ft 101ex with the external frequency counter, but,i'm not sure of the value of this rig. I looked on ebay and didn't anything that matched what the person was selling

Any suggestions?

Hello Bob

I also have a ft 530 and have had a similar problem of losing audio and found that the connection to the bnc connector on the top came loose which affected my audio, which is odd.So You may want to check your bnc connector and the connections to the bnc inside the radio.

I  had to pull mine apart and break the the ground strap between the bnc and the rig  to tighten up the bnc connector, resoldiered it and epoxyed the connector in place to keep it from moving.

This Was a pain in the caboose, but was effective for the time being, since I use it for some local 2 meter stuff, but, more like a scanner due to the connectore coming loose often .

Hope you have better luck with yours then I did with mine.

I was wondering if I own 2 yaesu radios could I run both radios off of the C.A.T software at the same time or would I have to open a program for both radios< Would this cause a conflict.
