Razi was on 20m RTTY again last night.
Not many calling, and I had to run into town anyway, so I threw the laptop in the pickup and headed out.
There is a nice hilltop on the way where I can pull off the road (the wife didn't want to drive me to town while I played radio, go figure) and it took a bit with the qsb, but finally got him for a new one /m.

After 3 days of can't hear him, barely hear him, hear him good but can't get through, I finally managed a qso on 20m LP this morning for ATNO #318.
His qrz info states today will be "ATNO and NA focus in the evening", so I'm one and done.
Thanks Krish for the new one, and good luck to those still needing a qso.

2300Z And his signal is dropping like a rock, at least here in Fla. Has not been strong on 17 tonite anyway, at least not like 20 last nite. Maybe he will QSY later...... Hoping.....

Same here, and never was as strong as 17m last night. Pretty much gone now. All I hear now is the pileup side.

Never got over about a 43 here on 20m, good 56 or so on 17m, but no-go. Nothing on 12m.
Spotted on 10m right now, nada, so I've crossed my fingers the day gets better.

I just worked Krish @ 23:09 UTC. He's a legit 59 here in Mass. He's on 14.184.4. He's filling in the blanks right now, no NA, EU or JA, and will soon be working only JAs.
Krish has a great signal here in SC, 59 and sometimes just a little over, got him 2nd call with the amp on... made my #300
All I hear on 14.184.4 is static, SP or LP. Looking at my log for times I've worked 8Q on 20m, I hope he sticks around for another couple of hours or so. I might be able to at least hear him then.

Guys 500hz up aren't a problem...........the problem in that pile is the ops calling zero beat he is working also.
The other problem is the usual majority who keep calling and never listen.

It took a while for my 20m cw qso to show up.
Maybe they don't have the real time log hooked up to both rigs.

Only band I've heard/worked them on was 20m cw last night. I hope conditions will improve for the VU7 operation.

Anyone ever worked EP2FA and got a QSL? His address in QRZ is only "Tehran"
No and no, but his qrz info shows a p.o. box. And an email address.

I worked EP3MJ last week and I was just wondering if anybody got a card from him in the past? His QRZ info with his Italian DX manager looks like it should be no problem but if someone has some experience with this please let me know. Thanks.
IK2DUW is also the manager for YI1RZ. Took about 2 weeks to get that one back in 2011. You shouldn't have any problem.

I could not help but notice that no matter what station he came back to, a well known and well respected DXer/DXpeditioner continued to call him despite the fact that his call in no way was anything near to what the DX operator was replying to. I just could not believe it!
I cannot help but think that some of the recent awards like the Challenge and Marathon awards are the motivating factors for Operators to behave in this manner. Why else would a honor roll guy be seeking a run of the mill South Pacific entity in this fashion. This is all so silly just to rack up more points.
I don't know who you heard, but I've heard the same thing, more than once. Well know perhaps, I'd leave off the "well respected" part. Surprising, to say the least.

Nothing so far this year.
Wake Is later this year, along VU7 if Krish can make it there and I can manage a qso, would be 2 ATNO.
I'm hoping Paul's announcement in a couple of days is something I haven't worked, and hopefully this year.
I have picked up 7 new ones /m this year, putting me at 257 mobile.

I'm still trying to figure out how to work with DXKeeper and pull out QSOs beginning at a certain date for example (I'm sure it's simple once I enter the right stuff).. but with N1MM it was an automatic feature.
On the "Log" page, click on "ADV", advanced log filter something (I'm at work, don't recall exactly what it's full name is). Filter by date, band, mode etc.......... If you want to check your WAS on a single band, filter the log for that band before you go to the "progress" tab.
