When you say "to hot to touch" are you talking about touching to componet inside of the radio or just touching the outside of the radio? If you can get burnt by touching only the radio I would say it was way to hot. If the PA or other componet is causing burns maybe that is somewhat normal. any way, my 570 only gets slightly warm at 100 watts while touching the heatsink.
If I were you I would be very careful when working with neutral/ground situations. You can end up with some serious and dangerous problems if you are not 100% sure at what you are doing. It is really better and safer to add a new dedicated circuit for a 220 amp. 73 Jim W5JJG
I use a Solorcon A-99 vertical antenna for 10 and also works for 15. It is originally for 11 meters but works very good on 10 also. It is 18 feet tall and has 4 radials comming off the bottom of it. They sell new for 69 dollars and 40 dollars for the radial kit. Works good for me. Good luck and 73 Jim W5JJG
