Because of building restrictions, I need to find an antenna that will allow operation
on both 6 & 2 meters as well as both horizontal and vertical polarization. Where can
I find this type of antenna to feed one coax line and be mounted on one mast on the
chimney? Thanks!

The instruction manual with the Icom SM-8 desk microphone doesn't indicate a
Mic level for use with the 706MKIIG. Does anyone know the initial setting(s)
for the above radio and microphone?

Thanks for the info/update. BTW, what's NMO stand for?
Looks like the Comet Triband SB-15 or the Diamond
CR627B is what I'll need. I'll need to get some
more books on VHF/UHF antennas since I'll be using
the radio at home. Also, will I need somekind of tuner
with this antenna?
