The right answer is enough, depending on your loop configuration and rope weight limits. I use a sling shot and exsisting trees for my 160 meter loop and feed it with a home brew stub feeder of ladder line with a ugly balun. Love the darn thing, works well on all bands and is pretty quiet compared to my dipoles.
Hot tip, I use plastic clothes line pulleys to feed the wire through on mine and carbon rope for support. My wire "floats" in the pulleys and can be moved as needed at the feedpoint. This seems to help quite a bit keeping keeping it from breaking from my old method platic insulators. Been up for about 4 years now. Last tip, get as high as you can, where you can.
Best of luck and feel free to contact me if you need any further help.

Hi,
You shouldn't see much if any interaction between the coaxes.
Black tape works or tie straps using care not to oertighten.

Never heard of that one I assume u mean the freq sliders. Are you getting any errors when u press the connect button in the window? Another thing to check is the specific setup in options. The sliders are configurable, you may have them unchecked. You can try the HRD forms as well and prb get a better answer rig specific, or try your luck at emailing Rick at HRD. 73 and Good Luck. Oh the memories! That radio was "Strapped and Snipped". The old SBEs were pretty cool old CB's. Good job restroring it back to factory. I have a few ri9gs restored packed away for the same reason. Lafayettes, Uticas, and even a old SBE Brute (SBE-34). Those old screwdriver jockeys did some intereting things. I even remember a mod called a "christmas tree" they did to white face Johnson tube rigs that bumped up the power Anyhow, thanks for the trip down memory lane. 73, Dave

Hi,
I have been very pleased with the Diamond SG7900ANMO. Nice gain for dual band antenna (you will need it at low power), folder over mast to get into garages etc.
Hope this helps.

eHam Forums / Elmers / RE: Concrete form, or just pour it in the hole??

My 2 cents: I do the hole, use rebar cross hatch and into the ground. I always form above ground 2-6 inches as the other op mentioned and slope the top for water runoff. I would suggest never covering the bottom of the tower with dirt or allowing water to lay the the tower base. The issue with this is the tower can eventually rust, weaken and fail. Makes for an interesting ride to the ground from the top! There's a lot more to it than cosmetics hihi. Theres a reason I know this, but shall never admit it in an open forum... or have I already ¿ 73 de Dave KD8GEH Dayton

Hi
Not enough info to help you . What interface, operating system are you using? HRD is a little tricky with communications errors. If possible dont use usb converter cables, direct com ports always better. Fixed many an issue with a 9 dollar pci card.
You can email direct if you like. call at arrl dot net
Good luck,
