I have the older 897. My ACC jack needs to be used because I want to put an interfaced auto tuner inline and that requires the DIN plug. The ACC in my manual says the jack is a 3-pin with TX ground at the tip, ALC middle and Ground base. I don't need ALC and only need to use the relay. Has anyone here just soldiered the center RCA to the TX Ground and Shield to Ground on a 2-pin 3.5mm and have it work without the third (middle) part of the jack for the ALS-600 from 897?
