it depends on what version of the firmware you have in,
i have one here wit the version 5.0 or 5.1 i dont recall but i used it as a RELAY some time during hunting season ,
you will need to setup uiview so it will strart
KISS ON when starting the software but it can be done

this is a good tnc,i have 3 of them

hi all
i made an error connecting my ft-2400 ona multicoupler
that is used for aprs
i connected it at the bad connector so when the aprs tx it blew the sav24 final of the ft-2400
or
it is true that could be a diode on the board that would prevent the sav24 to blow??

anyone can help me ?

hi all
i just read your article about the SAV24
i happened to have a FT 2400that suppose to have a burned sav24,i wonder if the is a diode at the output of the sav24 or at the entrance of the final,mine is no longer tx because of me,i badly connected the radio a duplexer for my aprs need and i suspect that the rf of the aprs transceiver burned the possible diode so i dont tx anymore.
anyone knows if it is possible??
any ide where would be the diode???
