The keyer/paddle and the straight key could not be done in the same jack due to key jack shares both function with one jack. Either paddle or straight must select for a function. Any suggestion, please advise.

The IC-718 has only one key jack for this and also it shares both function with one jack, and a switch wiht menu function toggle to change from electronic to straight keying. Another way can modify on this rig?

I connected CW homebrew interface for CW keyboard at the electronic keyer jack of IC-718. Also would like to use paddle key at the same time. How to do these CW operating devices on the rig? Or how to connect the paddle key in another place? Please advise.
