Greetings, everyone! I've had a nice SR-400A for a while, and I'm observing that the Preselector setting for peak receive is NOT the same as for peak power output on the same frequency. It's always a little different, and peak PO renders the rx a bit less sensitive. Shame, because the rx is very hot on this rig when it's peaked by itself.

The Manual just says that Peaking the Preselector for transmit is more important (hmmm...?)

It would seem to me that the alignment procedure would seek to reduce this discrepancy to a minimum, but there's no mention of it that I can find.

Anyone have any thoughts on this?
