I have found a good link to this software and have downloaded it, but it is missing a link to the "skins" needed to run it. Does anyone know were I could find the file for an ic706mk2 that belongs with this software?
Ther's no magic in the dsp stuff. I use em just like any other. I set them to what sounds nice.
Tap the DISPLAY button,lower left of the screen, until you see S (anything) in the lower right of the display. Tap the buttom under the S untill it reads S4 or like this
S4 ANF NR NRL
Buttons UNDER the display control the options. ANF =auto notch filter. it kills steady tones
NR= noise reduction.
NRL= settins for noise reduction.
Off the top of my head I believe there are diferent choises as you change bands and mode, but this is where you'll find them. Once I found them, I played around and had fun with it Untill I figured out what I wanted them for. Good luck
Can anyone tell me how to homebrew a ct-17 cable/converter? Icom wants BIG$ for it and I just dont think it's that complicated, but I can't find ANYTHING on it!
