To commemorate this remarkable achievement, NODXA members are having a special event station from March 11 through March 13. The stations will be on 80-10 meters using SSB and CW. K8YSE will also provide satellite contacts using the special event call sign. Information below:

Thanks for all the responses. It appears that the DJ-580 doesn't support this feature. I thought it did since Criteria #5 at this site states that it does: http://w4kwh.org/satellite-radios/
I’m trying to configure my Alinco DJ-580 to work the LEO satellites and I can’t figure out how to store cross band splits in memory. I would like to have five memory channels that have the same 2 meter transmit frequency with different 440 MHz frequencies to compensate for the Doppler Effect.
I can program large frequency offsets using the “VFO MODE SPLIT” and the “MEMORY MODE SPLIT” described in the manual but only within the same band. The radio will not accept a 440 MHz frequency when the VHF band is selected or vice-versa. I’ve found a web page that states that the DJ-580 supports this feature but it didn’t provide any information on how to set it up. Does anybody know how to do this?
