1  eHam Forums / Good Seller / Buyer Beware / Warning for dealing with N4CQW, Moe on: May 04, 2009, 08:08:53 AM
I bought an antenna from Moe, N4CQW in early February and still no antenna. He have responded to a couple fo my emails with excuses and promises but then no action. Then he stops to respond to emails for a month or so. I found a phone number on-line in the white pages by using his address on qrz.com but he is not returning my calls (maybe not the right number).

I'll start to read up on the Small Claims Court stuff and move forward with this.
2  eHam Forums / Lost Hams / Is Moe N4CQW OK? on: March 25, 2009, 04:13:03 PM
Hello, I am looking for Moe N4CQW. I have been trying to reach him via email(that he used in February this year) for over a month with no response. I found his phone number on the white pages last week and I've been trying that a couple of times(no answer but I left a message both times and will continue call).

I bought an antenna from him in the beginning of February and I have not seen that yet nor any information that it has been shipped.
I hope nothing bad has happened to him as I don't think he is trying to scam me (he seemed like a decent person during our email exchange).

You can respond to ostgoran at yahoo.com or (408-644 8705)if you have any information.

Thanks,
Goran
3  eHam Forums / Elmers / contact logging software?which one? on: November 02, 2008, 11:14:54 AM
My first one was Ham Radio Deluxe. It has a very nice GUI and is very simple to use, however for me it lacked award tracking and contest mode and I only wanted to have one software to learn. One good thing is that there are loads of good ones out there and you can download them and see if they fit into your requirements. I went through a couple of them and the suite from DXlab is the one for me (free as well), http://www.dxlabsuite.com/ .

Good luck,

Goran W6RBA

Hello, why don't you give them a call? I also tried an email first (no response) but went for plan B, telephone and got my questions answered.

If you prefer to contact Stan in Bulgaria you can use English.

Good luck,
Goran

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
A new book sounds good to me!

6  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / 2 element vertical dipole array? on: February 12, 2008, 03:59:18 PM
Hello, I just saw an interesting antenna on the VP6DX Ducie Island 208 web site http://ducie2008.dl1mgb.com/equipment/index.php
It is a 2 element vertical dipole array (small footprint=good for my rental backyard).
Has anyone tried to homebrew one of these and can share how they did that (20 meter band)?

Cheers,
Goran
7  eHam Forums / Clubs / EQUIPMENT DONATION FOR A SO CAL CLUB on: September 28, 2003, 12:29:06 PM
I've been asked by the widow of "W6RB" to find a deserving Christian, high school, or community college amateur radio club to donate a large inventory of radio equipment (transmitters, etc.).  Too much stuff to ship.

I have taken a photo of some of the equipment.

All suggestions and recommendation gratefully accepted.

Thanks again,
