Hi guys,
does anyone have a schematic for changing the final tubes of the Swan 700cx from 8950's to 6LB6's ?
I know that basically you just wire the filaments from parallel as they are now to series, but does someone
have a schematic that shows that ?

in windows..
I wanted it to stay on top of all other programs that I was running.
so i wrote a little program in visual basic.

its free if you think you can use it.
just download it and put it on your desktop and then doubleclick the icon to start it.

it was a great company.
I lived in fallbrook, calif for some time..that is about 20 miles from the swan plant.
I use to go there to take my rigs in and they would often times just do it while i was there.
the techs there gave me quite a few freebees while i was there.

sounds like you don't have your versa tuner ii  set correctly.
it should tune to a low swr regardless of what the rig is doing...at least mine does.

Hey guys..,
anyone have an idea where I might tap off 12 volts dc from my Kenwood TS-820 and bring it out the back ?
It is for a freq readout that I have and needs 12 volts dc.
