1  eHam Forums / Misc / Yaesu rotor pinouts? on: March 15, 2001, 06:56:11 PM
Hi. Does anyone know the pinouts for Yaesu rotors? (G-450)  When reading the directions, I was surprised not to see something about using heavier wire for the selenoid coil, like the T2X does.  Is it that the Yaesu doesnt brake in the same way? I have rotor cable with 2 heavier wires, and I would like to use them on the pins that draw the most current.

Thanks.

3  eHam Forums / Elmers / HAM-IV box on a T2X rotor? on: January 08, 2001, 11:43:38 PM
Hi.  I understand that a HAM-IV control box can be used with a Tailtwister rotor.  My question is- The HAM-IV control box has a 8-pin plug and the rotor has a 8 conductor terminal block.  How do the pins of the plug match up with the 8 wires from the rotor?  Do the pins just go straight across like the T2X control box with the terminal block, or does the plug use some other arrangement?

Thanks.

I run a ham station at a Boy Scout Camp in eastern PA.  Someone
gave us a HAM-IV rotor box and I want to use it with a Tailtwister
rotor.  However, the HAM-IV control box has a 8 pin plug and the rotor
has a 8 conductor terminal block. How do the pins on the
HAM-IV box plug match up to the terminal block on the rotor?

Thanks.
