1  eHam Forums / Elmers / Schema for 1 channel SSB tranceiver in 30 kHz(!) on: January 09, 2004, 06:46:01 PM
Hi Kirk,

The only ssb info I have is fitted in "rigs" with also FM/AM/SSB/CW mf superhet and multichannel tuning (PLL) and so on. I am looking for a simple ssb-design so I can retune is for the vlf.
Do you have some hints or directions for it on the internet?

Thanks anyway,

Thanks for your reaction, WB6BYU,

I taste in your text that a filter-basad system preferes because one TXRX frequency is sufficient. Also will there be little trouble with sidechannels on the open sea. My problem is that the only schematic diagrams I have of several "rigs" are fitted with AM/FM/LSB/USB/CW features, MF-stages multichanneltuning and so on. I really need information about simple ssb-applications and retune these to that vlf-band.

Can you give me a direction about this on the internet?
Thanks anyway,

Thanks for your reaction Kirk. I am aware of the ultrasonic priciple, but your hint about the intercomsystem on ac-wiring is very, very helpful.
My homebrew wired system for UW-com is build around the lm368 also. But don't you think a ssb-modulation gets much better results in water? Commercial systems like OTS do use it too.

However I am already searching for ac-intercom diagrams already,

Thanks, Johan

Al the way from Holland Europe a request for info or schematic diagrams of a simple SSB transceiver.
One working frequency ( about 31500 Hz)is sufficient, so no PLL things required. The application is for an underwatercommunication set. So voice- bandwith only.
A link to simular sites is also helpfull.

Who can help me?
Thanks from Johan. 73's
