Have a TM-221A with intermittent tones.  Thought I had it permanently by cleaning 2nd pin in on either side of the sip connector.  Lasted 3 months.  Now no tones.

Any ideas on diagnosis ?

Looking to mod Mirage BD-35 for Yaesu VX-2R output 1.5-3.0 W.  Mirage is set up for up to 7W and performs at about 25W w/1.5 in.  I would like 45 W w/1.5 in.
The Mirage schematic is horrible - illegible.  Any precident here ?  
There appears to be a v.r. on the base of the amp xstr, could be bias, I'll have to look again. Any ideas ? Precedents ?  Mods ?

Subject:  Mirage BD-35

I need to modify my BD-35 for lower input power for my Yaesu VX-2.  I noticed your post for the same.  Did you get any answers or suggestions ?
