After a 10 year hiatus from contesting I am ready to get back into the fray following a move to Delaware. I need a simple straight forward program that will support all the big CQ and ARRL contests. What do the readers suggest?

8  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / Coax Cable on: September 02, 2011, 07:22:46 AM
I need help with the following. Thanks for reading this and any help.
I am putting up a Comet CH-250B vertical. I will be running from 5-150 watts. I need to run/ fish the coax from a garage to house through an existing power line piping that houses both 110v and 220v service. What is the best type of shielded coax to use. The run will be less than 100 feet. I want to stay away from the large RG-8 style coax. Thanks & 73's  Rich W3ECU
9  eHam Forums / Antennas and Towers and more / ANTENNA THAT ATTACHES TO REAR OF VHF TRANSCEIVER? on: August 27, 2011, 03:54:13 PM
I believe that at one time there was an antenna that would mount to the coax plug on the rear of a vhf transceiver, i.e. Yaesu FT2500 or 3500. This would take the place of either a mobile of base antenna. Anyone familiar with this antenna  and/ or know its manufactuer?
  Thanks Rich W3ECU
10  eHam Forums / Digital / KANTRONICS SOFTWARE NEEDED on: August 25, 2011, 02:57:07 PM
I currently have the following Kantronics TNC'c- the  KamPlus and the Packetcommunicator 3. In a recent move the software was lost. I have tried with no success to download the software from the Kantronics website, with no luck. Is there anyone who has a set(s) of the disks or cd-rom who would be able to copy it for me? Am gladly willing to pay for it. Thanks, Rich/ W3ECU
