I had my fuses blow when I turned on the power. Opened the unit up and found one tubes' plate cap had broken away from the glass tube taking some of the glass with it. A second tube had the internal wire from the plate to the cap burned with a half inch section vaporized. Further checks show that one of the 51 ohm grid-to-ground resistors is open circuited. Haven't found anything else yet. Waiting for some tubes to try it out. Good luck,
Because everything built in SoCal in the last 20 years has CC&Rs in order to form "perfect" communities. You don't have much choice unless you want to go into a 20 year old house.
